I worked with Nike Sportswear for a few months developing the Branding & Collateral for a Design festival they held in Braamfontein in October 2013.  I was responsible for creating an Identity System, Festival Print material, Signage, Event Invites, Social Media Pack Strategy, Detailed Map of JHB that also served as a Training Guide for Run Jozi as well as Seeding Packaging Design to give to speakers and performers.

This was a look book I designed for the first MissShape Ambassadors collection. It was produced in collaboration with youth culture specialist Anthea Poulos. Jamal had an idea to create some sort of Animated Lookbook that took inspiration from Sangomas (Traditional Healers), Kanga Textiles, Durban Muthi Market and Afro Futurism.

I was invited by Red Bull to take part in their Cooler Exhibition in Johannesburg. 12 Artists were selected and assigned a Bar / Restuarant. I was given the Venue Wolf Pack which is a beer and burger bar in Parkhurst.

After an initial brainstorm Wolf Pack provided a loads of inspiration. I thought an intricate Wolf Ice “Skullpture" would make for an interesting visual. The piece uses a 3d scanned wolf skull which is textured and rendered using Octane Render in Cinema 4d.

I was approached by Jamal Nxedlana from MissShape to Design and Art Direct a concept for his 3rd Ambassadors Collection with Jasmin Furmie. I worked closely with Jamal and we developed a concept inspired by a Post Internet Aesthetic whereby models appear to be digitally projected within a gallery space. The shoot was handled by Brett Rubin form Vatic Studio. I then took the shots and comped them into the surreal gallery environments we also took inspiration from stock style imagery hence the watermark over everything.
